Making a difference in our world is part of our mandate as GodChicks. I love being part of a company of women who are committed to being healthy in body & soul, who are passionate about loving their families, who love the house of God… and are determined to make a difference on the planet!!! Because we are committed to using our resources to help the lives of others, we have partnered with the following organizations.
Compassion
The generous 2011 GodChicks Conference attendees sponsored 300 children with Compassion. Some of the most at rick, vulnerable children will now have food, clothing, shelter and a hope for the future. For more information on Compassion, please visit www.Compassion.com.
A21 Campaign
There are over 27 million slaves in our world today. Whilst the statistics can seem overwhelming, it is important to remember that every number represents the life of a victim. The A21 Campaign has recognized a significant need in the region of Europe, and is committed to combating this injustice through rescuing one life at a time. Food for the Hungry
The attendees of the GC Conferences 2010 sponsored an additional 210 children which means that Godchicks has now sponsored 1,717 children!!! Thanks to these generous chicks, children around the globe have food, water, shelter, education and a chance for a future. www.fh.org
Watoto
GodChicks support women around the globe! The GodChick attendees gave an AIDS widow and 8 orphans a new home in Uganda, and helped build a well in Gulu, all through their generous giving. www.watoto.com
Living Hope
Living Hope restoreds the lives of the most marginalized and wounded people in Africa.....women. They provide shelter, medical care, spiritual discipleship, education and vocational training. This year Godchicks sponsored over 85 women through their generousity! These generous sponsorships are helping bring hope and futures! www.watoto.com
Voice of the Martyrs
Is dedicated to helping the persecuted and wrongfully imprisoned Christians worldwide. Godchicks wrote over 667 letters to women just like this. The powerful message these letters hold carry big weight...emotionally and politically. We are awaiting their results from our letteres written to Asia Bibi and will keep you informed! www.persecution.com
Mercy Ministries
GodChicks are passionate about reaching the younger women in their world! GodChicks have sent gifts to all the girls at Mercy Ministries, and sponsor girls to attend the conference. www.mercyministries.org
Union Rescue Mission
URM is one of the largest and oldest rescue missions in the US. Serving thousands of men, women and children experiencing homelessness in the Los Angeles area. This year Godchicks provided over 350 clothing items for toddlers in the mission! www.urm.org
Generosity Water
This year Godchicks help build another well! Bringing clean water to these communities is life changing! Generosity Water is the official water of the GodChicks Conference. 100% of their profits to go to fund organizations bringing solutions to the clean water crisis. www.GenerosityWater.com
